Father - Why I raped and Impregnated by 15 years Daughter

Father gives reasons why he had to rape her own child:

He said "am in love with her"

A motorcycle rider, Ubong Ime, has taken interest in his fifteen year old daughter as he allegedly raped and putting her in family way.

It was learnt that the victim lived together with her mother in Uyo, capital of  Akwa Ibom till in 2015 the daddy remarried and brought her to Lagos . It was gathered that the incident happened within the Iju area of Lagos State.

Ime, was arrested by policemen from the Iju station, aforesaid he was taken with with the victim. He said ,

“Sometime in June 2018 , my wife told me that my daughter was pregnant we questioned her to know who was responsible for her pregnancy.
She didn't say a thing , however I knew that I was the one that impregnated her and it happened in June. Am in love with her and had I have made love to her on two different occasions. ”

The victim, however, aforesaid  that she was first raped by her father the day her step-mum stopped her from going to school and accusing her of stealing.

She said her father, who assumed to be punishing her, had sex with her.

She said, “My step mum continually accuses me of stealing her money and most times she beat me. she accused me of stealing her N200 and stopped me from school since the month of June.

“while doing my home tasks, my dada brought out a wire and began beating me. As he was beating me, he ordered me to take a seat on the bed and take removed my pants.

I refused, however as he continuing beating hitting me, I obeyed him and he raped me. As I was shouting, a neighbour came and knock at the door , but he told him that he was beating me.

“ after having sex, he told me that I shouldn't tell anybody. And he washed the cloths i that i was washing that day whereas I slept. I woke from sleep I took my bathtub and didn't tell my step mum.

“July 2018 , before examination , my step mum asked me not to go to school. My came back within the afternoon. As of then, i used to be sleeping on the bed . I suddenly noticed  that somebody set on me. Before I knew it , he had sex with me once more. He still warned me not to tell anybody what happened . ”

The victim said in July I lost my monthly flow and my step mum asked if i was having sex with anyone? but she denied it.

After 2 months of been pregnancy for my father i confessed to my step mum. she said

“When my step mum reported to my daddy that I looked pregnant, my father the told me that I should lie to her that I was raped by someone in a hotel. My step mum continued disturbing me and made me do a pregnancy test. She told me that I was two months gone.

“It became a talk of the street, that I was pregnant, I decided to tell my step mum the truth.

My daddy was the first man that had sex with me . No other person had made love with me before or after him,” she said .

“ There was a day that I came back from school and I saw daddy on top of her . Daddy used to have sex with her even in the night if our mummy is not at around. I do see them together on our bed if our mummy is not at home . ” Said David the half brother to the victim. 

The police attorney , Inspector John Christopher, aforesaid the offence contravened section 137 of the legal code of Lagos State, Nigeria , 2015.

The charge browse partially, “ That you , Ubong Ime, in June 2018 , at concerning twelve pm on Olushina Street, Isale Haruna , Obawole , Lagos State , within the Ikeja Magisterial District , did defile your daugther (name withheld ) aged 15… . ”

The defendant pleaded not quit as charged.
