UK deputy Prime minister hired to for Facebook

The tech gaint Mark the CEO of Facebook hires  the former UK deputy prime minister Nick Clegg to to work at facebook inc, Clegg is the most senior European politician occupong a leadership position in Silicon Valley.

His appointment came at a time when the world’s largest social network is facing criticism from users and lawmakers likewise scandals ab in relation to user privacy and election meddling.

In 2010 - 2015 Clegg was the leader of Britain’s Liberal Democrats, as a minority partner.

He served as deputy prime minister to David Cameron, then was ousted after the Conservatives won a majority in 2015 in this election the party suffer loss of support and he lost his own seat in the parliament in a general election last year.

Clegg is 51,  and will report to Facebook’s chief operation officer, Sheryl Sandberg.
