All vice chancellors of universities, Rectors of polytechnics and provosts of colleges of education were all in attendance in this meeting.
At the meeting, registrar said, “The leaders of the institutions agreed that the First Choice Admission Exercise would be conducted from July 2, 2018 to October 16, 2018; while the Second Choice Admission Exercise would be conducted from October 17, 2018, to December 17, 2018.”
It was gathered that out of the 1,603,181, who sat for the 2018 UTME, that about 414,696 of the candidates scored above 200.
The registrar, Prof. Oloyode noted that 558,673 candidates scored above 190; 739,490 above 180 and 956,937 above 170 marks.
He noted that the releases scores by JAMB is not an official cut-off marks for any institution rather is the minimum required marks.
Meanwhile, the FGN has warned that any institutions that sales it POST UTME form above 2000NGN will be sanctioned.
