First country to qualify for AFCON 2019

Madagascar changes the game by standing out as the first country to book their place at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, with a 1-0 victory at home over Equatorial Guinea in Group A on Tuesday.

Njiva Rakotoharimalala, scored the  goal that lead to their victory 4mins before halftime, this lifted the ‘Barea’ to 10 points in 4 matchs and beyond the reach of Equatorial Guinea.

This 1-0 win for the Malagasy over the Equatoguineans within 4 days, after captain Faneva Ima Andriatsima scored the victorus in West Africa last weekend.

This is the first time Madagascar is will playing at the AFCON tournament.
